On Sunday, February 12, 2023, with her children at her side, Gertrude Edith Moulaison, loving wife and mother, passed away at age 88. Born to Mary and Elwin MacNeill, Getrude was the youngest of five siblings. She met and married Walter in 1953. They were together for 51 years.

Gertrude spent her younger years raising her children and working as a homemaker. She and Walter enjoyed many years of camping with friends. Gertrude loved playing games, entertaining friends and family, shopping, going out to eat and watching TV. She was the proud grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of 9 and gathered great joy from seeing them grow and accomplish many milestones. Gertrude, also known as Gert, Gertie, Ma, Nana and Great Nana, had a wonderful sense of humor and a huge heart.

She is survived by her son and daughters, Walter Moulaison, Jr. and his wife Kathryn, Kathy Brady and her husband Fran, Karen Mahoney and her husband Ron, and Maryanne DeFlumeri and her husband Rich.

Interment will be private. A celebration of life at the Regatta Room, Eliot Commons, 28 Levesque Dr (Route 236), Eliot, Maine 03903, will be held with family and friends on May 6,2023 from 12:00-4:00pm.
