Obituary

Kittery- Hannah E. McCloud, 98 of Norton Road in Kittery died on Monday afternoon December 14, 2015 with her family members at her side. Born in Kittery on April 6, 1917 she was a daughter of the late John R. and Elizabeth M. (Strang) Goodwin. She was a graduate of R.W. Traip Academy. Hannah was a volunteer for over twenty five years at York Hospital, member of the Rice Public Library, Kittery Land Trust, Kittery Historical Museum, and the oldest member of the First Christian Church active in the Amicus club and Sunday School teacher. She was married on June 10, 1945 to Edward L. McCloud who predeceased her. She is survived by her sons Peter and Paul McCloud, a niece Joan Marston, nephew Russell Spinney, and niece Debbie Theriault, a cousin Bud Goodwin, many great neices and nephews, second cousins and friends. She was predeceased by a sister Bernice Spinney and brother Hubert Goodwin. A graveside service will be held on Saturday December 19th at 11am with the Rev. Dr. Beth Hoffman officiating in the First Christian Cemetery on Haley Road in Kittery Point. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.jspelkeyfuneralhome.com . Family flowers only.
