Obituary

Eliot – Harley B. Remick, 93, of Littlebrook lane in Eliot died on July 14, 2018 in Varney Crossing Care and Rehabilitation following a period of failing health.
Born in Enfield Ct, he was a son of the late Reginald and Lillian ( Carmichael ) Remick. Harley served his country proudly as a member of the Army Air Corps during World War Two. Following his service to our country he worked in the planning department at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.
Harley served his Lord and congregation as the pastor of North Saco Congregational Church UCC for over thirty years and is currently honored as Pastor Emeritus. Early in life he was a member of the First Congregational Church at Kittery Point where he served as Sunday School Superintendent.
Active in his community he served as a Boy Scout Leader while his children were growing up and was a fifty year membership holding Mason, in Naval Lodge #184 in Kittery. He also enjoyed square dancing with his wife Carolyn and attending car shows to exhibit his antique cars .
Harley is survived by his loving wife Carolyn ( Rowell ) Remick of Eliot, daughter Mary Remick of Eliot, sons Rex and his wife Jane of South Berwick and Steve and his wife Cindy Remick of Eliot, grandchildren Sarah, her Husband Jon, Samantha, her significant other Steve, Kelly, Sean his wife Katie, and Michael and great grandchildren; Joshua and Charlotte Turner .
A memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday July 21, 2018 at 3pm in his church First Parish Federated Church in South Berwick with Rev. Linda Hirst officiating.
