Kittery Point, Maine-- Harold Niles Sr., a lifelong resident of Kittery Point, Maine, died February 25th, at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

Harold " Hal" born February 18, 1944, was raised in Kittery Point Maine. He was the son of the late Clarence and Velma Niles.

Harold enlisted into the Navy when he was 17yrs old and was a Vietnam veteran, serving his country on the USS Enterprise.
He was a volunteer Fire fighter at the Kittery Point fire department for 15 years. Harold was a Lobster man for almost the remainder of his life and had the blessing of the Lobstering community of Kittery Point where he made many friends and acquaintances.

Survivors include his wife Diane Niles of 54 years. His son Harold Niles Jr. (wife Cathy) and grandson Austin. His Brother Norman Niles (wife Susan) and sister Donna Woods (husband Bruce).

Care for the Niles Family has been entrusted to the JS Pelkey & Son Funeral Home. At this time no services are scheduled. In the Spring per his request his ashes will be interned into the Ocean.
