Eliot- Harold Alfred Stacy, Jr.,72, of Eliot passed away January 05, 2015, after a long battle with diabetes and heart disease. Harold was born in Portsmouth, NH, on August 16, 1942, to Ann (Joyce) Stacy and Harold A. Stacy, Sr., and lived all his life in Kittery and Eliot. He was a graduate of Traip Academy. He spent many years earning his living as an auto mechanic in the seacoast area, and had the opportunity to run a service station on Islington St. in Portsmouth until he suffered a heart attack in 1999. He was a faithful servant in the church of Christ; he did what he could to teach the Scriptures and encourage others, and reading his Bible gave him great comfort. He is survived by his wife, Marcia (Smelser), his sister Frances Dalzell of Bakersfield, Texas, a brother Robert Stacy, his children Cheri Stacy (husband Joe Todd) of Wells, Maine, and Aaron Stacy of Kittery, Maine, and two grandchildren, Haley Stacy of South Berwick, Maine, and Zachary Stacy of Kittery, Maine. Harold was predeceased by a brother Richard Stacy, and a sister, Joyce, Stacy. Friends may visit with Harold's family on Friday from 6-8pm in the JS Pelkey Funeral Home 125 Old Post Road Kittery Maine 03904. A funeral will be celebrated at 11am on Saturday in the Kittery Church of Christ 48 Love Lane in Kittery 03904.
