Wells- Helen C. Main, 92 of Wells died on September 5, 2015 at York Hospital. Born in Eliot on November 3, 1922 she was a daughter of Wilbur " Stubby" and Bernice ( Jones ) Plaisted.She attended local schools graduating from Eliot High School. She met and married her loving husband Harold Kenneth Main Sr and together they made Eliot their home for many years. Upon retirement they enjoyed Wilson Pond where they made their home until 1994 when they settled in Wells. A wonderful mother and grandmother she was a talented cook, she enjoyed any family gathering where she could enjoy seeing those she loved. Living on the lake she enjoyed snowmobiling, boat racing , the sound of the loons and could sit for hours soaking in the sun. Helen is survived by her loving family; sons Paul Hallam and his wife Judy of Sanford and Arron and Darlene Main of Eliot, sisters Jessie Fallon and Marilyn Bullard, grandchildren,Harold III &Tracy, Heather, Tobey & Michele, Jimmy,Diana ,Jeffrey & Nicole and Rachel, great grandchildren,Trevor , Ryan, Briana, Riley , Meghan, Justin and Danny, Sophia and Julia as well as neices and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband in 2005, her stepson Harold Kenneth Main Jr and a great grandson Dillan. Friends may visit with Helens family on Friday from 12-1 pm in the JS Pelkey Funeral Home 125 Old Post Road Kittery Maine 03904, where a funeral will be celebrated at 1 pm.
