Ft. Pierce, FL - Irene S. (Desrochers) Gagne, 87, of Ft. Pierce, FL and formerly of Somersworth, NH passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015 at the Lake Forest Park Assisted Living in Ft. Pierce, Florida. She was born on July 13, 1927 in Lewiston, Maine, a daughter of Oscar and Flora (Roberge) Desrochers. Prior to her retirement, Irene was employed at General Electric in Somersworth for 22 years. She was a member of St. Martin Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish in Somersworth. Irene's husband, Fernand, predeceased her in 1981. She was also predeceased by two sisters, Anita Gagne and Elsie Mailhot. Survivors include two sons, Fernand W. "Sonny" Gagne and his wife, Roberta and Robert Gagne; two daughters, Jo-Ann Beaulieu and Carol Perron and her husband, Gerard; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A time of visitation will be held from 2-3 PM on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the Bernier Funeral Home, 49 South Street, Somersworth with a graveside service to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Somersworth at 3:30 PM.
