Somersworth- Irene M. Kimball, 84, of Somersworth, died Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Clipper Harbor Nursing Home in Portsmouth, N. H. following a period of failing health.

Born in Dover, N.H., on June 17, 1933, she was the daughter of Archie and Rose St Laurent.  She is survived by her son Bob and wife Eve of Somersworth, daughters Susan Goodwyn and husband Tony, Vickie Kimball and significant other Jack McIsaac, and Michelle Drouin all of Rochester and she was especially close to her niece Jackie Westphal of Somersworth; 7 grand children, 11 great-grandchildren , and 2 great-great grand children.

She was predeceased by her husband Earl Kimball and son Paul.

Irene enjoyed being with her family and getting out and mingling with people as she was known as a "social butterfly" and could make friends with anybody she met. Irene was a member of the Somersworth Eagles Club.

Irene was prolific at crocheting and would donate many of her creations to the military men and women serving overseas. She also was in bowling leagues with her husband Earl, and son Bob, who is well known in the seacoast for his bowling prowess.

Care for the Kimball family has been entrusted to the Bernier Funeral Home.
