Eliot- Janice Sarah Dame, 62 of Brixham Road in Eliot died on January 26, 2015 at Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston. Born on March 10, 1952 in Upland, PA she was a daughter of William S. And I.M. Louise ( Carroll) Bailey. She was raised in Upland and attended local schools. Jan furthered her education earning a degree in accounting from Hesser College. She worked at Jackson Hewitt Accounting and enjoyed her job and clients. She was an avid New England Sports as well as Phillies and Eagles fan. She with her husband were avid members of the racing community enjoying many days at the raceway with other racers and fans. She is survived by her loving husband Elroy Dame of Eliot, son Dan and his wife Dana Dame of York PA and their daughter Haley, a daughter Shirley and her fiancee Ian St. Pierre of Dover, NH, siblings James Bailey of DE, I.M. Louise Boseman of DE, Margaretta Smiley of FL, Elizabeth Funk of PA, Debra Funk of PA, Cindy Willoughby of NC, Kathy Winnemore of PA, and Bonnie Long of PA, aunt Nancy Carroll Bristow as well as many nieces and nephews, and her beloved racing family. She was predeceased by her sister Williametta Graham and brother William S. Bailey Jr. A memorial service will be celebrated on February 14, 2015 at 10 am in St. Georges Episcopal Church 407 York Street York Maine. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the American Lung Association 55 W Wacker Dr. Suite 1150 Chicago IL 60601 or to the Lupus Foundation of America 2000 L Street SW Suite 410 Washington DC 20036. Care for the Dame family has been entrusted to the JS Pelkey Funeral Home.
