Janice
Wallpe
Mar 29, 1962 — Jul 28, 2023
Janice Hanson Wallpe, 61, of Eliot, ME, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family after a long battle of cancer at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
Janice was the most loving and devoted mother and Nana. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone, especially her children and grandbabies. A tremendously positive person, Janice was never known to complain. She lit up the room when she entered. Her smile and laugh were contagious. She loved spending her time off shopping, cooking and entertaining. She never showed up empty handed; "Nana J" always had something for her grandbabies when she saw them. She loved shopping and had a great sense of style. She spent most of her career working at Watts Fluid Air and Margaritas Management Group. She loved her job and all the friends she made along the way. Janice was truly a great person whose impact will be forever felt by her family and friends who loved her dearly.
Janice leaves behind her parents Maynard and Elizabeth (Davis) Hanson, Her husband John Wallpe, her former husband Russell Jenkins, Her children Jamie Pisano(Jenkins) and her husband Damian and their son Nolan, Her son Matthew Jenkins and his girlfriend Ashley Ridlon and their two children Marianna and Maverick. Her 4 daughters by marriage Misty, Megan, Shannon, and Lauren along with their ten children and one grandchild. Her brother Steven Hanson and his wife Donna and their children Nancy and Scott and her brother Bruce Hanson and wife Erin. She also leaves behind great nieces, nephews, aunts, and many cousins.
She is preceded by her grandparents Walter and Phyllis Hanson and Byron and Evelyn Davis.
The family Would like to thank all the medical staff at Dana-Farber and Brigham and Women's hospital in Boston for all their love and amazing care over the past three years. Our family appreciates it from the bottom of our hearts.
