Somersworth - Jeannette F. (Fortin) Gaudreau, 95, of Somersworth, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Colonial Hill in Rochester. She was born on September 23, 1919 in Somersworth, New Hampshire, a daughter of Joseph and Rose Anna (Beland) Fortin. Jeannette was a communicant of St. Martin Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish in Somersworth. She was proprietor of the former Bernadette's, a ladies specialty shop in Somersworth. Jeannette's husband, Fernand, two brothers, Arthur and Rene and sister, Alice Porrell Lavertu, predeceased her. Survivors include two sons, Normand Gaudreau and his wife, Lena of Steilacoom, WA and Laurent "Larry" Gaudreau and his wife, Rachel of North Berwick, ME; four grandchildren Marc Gaudreau and his wife Bonnie Stearns, Brenda Brault, Dan Gaudreau and his wife Michelle Fryou and Guy Gaudreau and his wife Maureen Roach; eight great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at St. Martin Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish, 120 Maple Street, Somersworth, with Fr. Michael Taylor, Pastor as Celebrant. Interment will immediately follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Somersworth.
