Rochester: Joanne C. Pelkey, 48, former Rochester resident, died July 22, 2012 in Bedford, N.H. She was born in Rochester September 24, 1963 the daughter of Robert K. and Juliet (Roy) Dewing. Joanne attended Spaulding High School and prior to being disabled Joanne took great pride in her work helping to make quality shoes in local shoe shops. Members of the family include her parents, Robert and Juliet Dewing of Gonic, a brother Michael and his wife Rose Dewing of the United Kingdom and a sister, Nikki Diamond of Rochester. A special aunt, Lorette Collins of Milton also survives Joanne, as do many nieces and nephews. Visiting will be Thursday from 6-8pm at Bernier Funeral Home 49 South St. Somersworth where funeral services will be held Friday at 11am with Rev. Mr. Richard Falardo of St. Mary Church, Rochester, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Somersworth. Memorial Donations are suggested to your local hospice agency.
