PORTSMOUTH, NH - John Amergian, 60, of Portsmouth, passed away suddenly Wednesday morning, November 3, 2021. John dedicated his career to his family-owned business Pic-N-Pay, then Hannafords for over 44 years.

He is survived by his son Trevor Amergian and daughter Kyle Amergian; Mother Katherine Amergian; significant other Randee Stilson; Nieces Lindsey Renaud and Kimberly Glennon, and Kimberly's children, Alexa and Ava Glennon; Nephew William Renaud III and his son William Renaud IV; Aunt Susan Amergian. He was predeceased by his father Richard Amergian, brother George and sister Karen.

John was so proud of both of his children. He loved watching Trevor play basketball and was always supportive of his training. He loved to play cribbage with Kyle, Randee, and Kay and claims to have never lost a game. When John wasn't pumping iron, you could find him cooking with Randee, listening to music, and making up new dance moves. John was loved by everyone who met him and will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Calling hours for John will take place from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday, November 10th at JS Pelkey and Son Funeral Home in Kittery. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 11th at 10am also at the JS Pelkey and Son Funeral Home.
