Kittery – John McClymont, 89, of Kittery, passed away Monday, June 5, 2017 at the York Hospital in York, Maine.

He was born on October 25, 1927 in Kirkcudbright, Scotland to Thomas and Annie (Casey) McClymont.

Prior to John's retirement, he was employed at the State House in Massachusetts in the Title Office.

John was predeceased by his wife Lucy Floyd, brothers Tim and James, Sister Jane and Brother-in-law Walter Sessoms.

He is survived by his daughters Ingrid Kelly of Kittery Maine and Sabina McLaughlin of Nashua NH, Sister-in-Law Harriet Ann Sessoms of Atlanta, GA, as well as grandchildren Lisa, April, David and Shaun, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Services: A celebration of John's life was held at Kittery Estates. A graveside service will be held at the Riverside Cemetery in Dillon, South Carolina on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the NHSPCA, PO Box 196, Stratham, NH 03885.
