ROME, Maine – Joseph Mayo passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 8, 2021

Joseph was born June 13, 2001 in Boston, MA.  He graduated from Erskine Academy in 2019.

Joseph was predeceased by his mother, Heather (Hammond) Mayo, grandparents, Charles and Barbara Hammond and Joseph A. Mayo.

Joseph is survived by his father, Richard Mayo of Rockport, ME, his grandmother, Elizabeth Mayo of Somersworth and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services:  Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Bernier Funeral Home, 49 South Street Somersworth, New Hampshire,where a memorial service will be celebrated at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.  A burial will be held at a later date. Care for the Mayo family has been entrusted to the Bernier Funeral Home
