Puglisi, Joseph C.

Joseph Charles Puglisi, 77, of Kittery, Maine, passed away peacefully on Friday,

January 5, 2024.

He was the loving son of the late Charles Puglisi and the late Theresa (Gallella) of

Stoneham, MA.

A graduate of Stoneham High School and Northeastern University, Joseph was a

decorated Vietnam Veteran earning the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam

Service Medal, and the Air Medal.

He is survived by his sister, Carol Leblanc, and her husband, Larry, and their family.

Beloved father of Laurie Plankey and her life partner Shane Abbott, Shara Katsos, and

her husband, Steven. Beloved grandfather to Christopher Plankey and his partner Gina

Bueno, and Sophie Theresa Katsos. He is also survived by his former wife and good

friend, Janet Puglisi.

Joseph is fondly remembered by many relatives and his close friends, including Phyllis

Powers and her family.

Joseph was a retired private investigator and Massachusetts Constable of North

Reading. He had many hobbies, including fishing with his buddies, cooking, gardening,

photography, and singing. He loved his beagle "Gizmo," the Beatles, and the New York

Yankees.

Visiting hours and service will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 10 am to

noon in the J.S. Pelkey Funeral Home.
