Eliot - June Brackett died March 8, 2022 from natural causes at her home in Eliot, Maine. at 96 years old. She was surrounded by her family.

June touched the lives of hundreds of young people through her work in Massachusetts as a Girl Scout Leader, and, in Maine as a 4-H leader for more than 30 years.

June was predeceased by her husband William B Brackett. They married in 1967 and spent many years together farming and raising livestock in Eliot with their grandchildren. Together they were natives of the Greenland / Stratham New Hampshire area.

June leaves behind her daughter Frankie John of Eliot, Maine. Granddaughters Valerie Bellottie of Eliot, Dawne June Woods of Georgetown, Texas and, Allissa Dalton of Eliot, Maine.  She also cherished her 8 greatgrandchildren, Nicole Bellottie, William Bellottie, Kameron Willis, Kadin Willis, Amanda Bellottie, Alexie Dalton, Kole Willis and Dylan Dalton.  She also had nieces and nephews in the seacoast area and Virginia.  Most of her family was able to join her for card games and puzzles as she was saying her goodbyes.  "We really did have a good time" were some of her last words.

June requested that there be no service but, the family is planning a celebration of life at the end of spring.
