Portsmouth, NH – Kathleen F. Del Valle, 79 passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2023, with her family by her side after a long period of declining health. Born in Portsmouth, NH on July 25, 1943 the daughter of the late Carleton S. and Elizabeth M. (Seibolt) Hoyt. Kathleen was raised in Newington and attended schools in Portsmouth.

Kathleen was in the hospitality industry working at the Helm Lounge in the Holiday Inn for many years, eventually retiring from the Portsmouth Regional Hospital. Kathleen was happiest when cooking and entertaining for her family and friends especially during the holidays.

She was predeceased by her second husband, Eusebio P. Del Valle, longtime companion Walter Kalil and sister Jon Michele  "Shelley" Schwartzmiller. She is survived by a daughter, Kathleen M. Delozier of Rollinsford, NH, her children Albert "Chipper" Johnson of Portsmouth, NH, Amanda Buckley and husband Maurice of Rollinsford, NH, Krystin Mawby and husband Christopher of Epping, NH, and Kayla Dredge of Rollinsford, NH. Great Grandchildren Jackson and Nevaeh Buckley of Rollinsford, NH.

Survived by a son, Michael S. Rogers and wife Bonnie of Kittery, ME and their children Timothy Rogers and wife Stephanie of North Berwick, ME, and Heidi Johnson and husband Brandon of North Berwick, ME. Kathleen was fondly referred to as "Ya Ya" by the grandchildren.

Also survived by her first husband, Bernard "Ted" Rogers of Summerville, SC, a sister Madeline Mills of Newington, NH, and a brother in-law, Charles Schwartzmiller of Greenland, NH along with several nephews.

Services: At the request of the family, there are no calling hours or services. Care for the family has been entrusted to the JS Pelkey & Son Funeral Home.
