Kathleen A. (Jurica) Leclerc, 64, died peacefully in her sleep April 1, 2014 at Laconia Rehabilitation Center after a long battle of illnesses.

Born May 9, 1949 in Johnson City, NY, she was the daughter of George and Irene (Himko) Juriga.

Kathleen was devoted to her family and friends and she enjoyed helping people, both for work and pleasure. She worked in home healthcare, bringing comfort to her clients.

Family came first and many friends a close second, communicating with them was a priority. Kathleen also loved animals, big, small and had many of her own.

Her diabolical sense of humor could make you laugh even when you did not want to laugh. Making home cooked meals was a pleasurable hobby, especially at the holidays.

Kathleen enjoyed singing, dancing and could not turn down a good bingo game.

Members of the family include her husband, Dennis Leclerc of Somersworth,

her son, Ron "Butch" Uyeno and his wife, Jill Sears of New Durham, her daughter, Kerri Uyeno of New Durham, her mother, Irene Lucik of Johnson City, NY, a loving sister, Nancy Pickut and her wonderful husband, Walter of Jamestown, NY,

her 4 grandsons, Jordan, Hunter, Alex and Ben

Friends may call Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Bernier Funeral Home 49 South Street Somersworth.

Family and close friends will gather Monday at Bernier Funeral Home to proceed to a Graveside Service at 2pm in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Somersworth.
