It is with great sorrow to learn of the death of our daughter, Kathy Gagne Sylvain, on the 9th of April 2025. Kathy lived in her condo at West Palm Beach, Florida, at the time of her passing. Her parents are Robert Gagne of Spring Hill, Florida and her mother is Elaine Jalbert of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Kathy was a wonderful baby and a smart young girl who always attended to others with gusto. This trait stayed with her throughout her life. She graduated from Spauling high school in 1976 and worked at the Rochester Day Care Center on Charles Street until she accepted a job at the Farmington School District. She would go on to work in the school district for many years.

When her son Larry entered college, and son Jonathan enlisted in the Coast Guard, she moved to Florida and started a new life for herself with gusto. Kathy lived in Florida for the next twenty years, until her passing.

Kathy leaves behind her father, Robert Gagne and his wife Lorraine of Spring Hill, FL; mother, Elaine Jalbert and her husband Richard Becker of Myrtle Beach, SC; sons Larry Sylvain of Boyton Beach FL and Jonathan Sylvain of Augusta, ME; grandsons Colen and Cory, who were the loves of her life; sister Donna Gagne and her husband Stephen Roy of Defuniak Spring, FL. She also leaves her favorite aunt (sometimes called her "other mother") Jeannine Hudson; several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Kathy was predeceased by her sister Claudette Gagne Binette.
