Obituary

On June 8th 2012, Mrs. Laurianna (Perreault) Gagnon, surrounded by her loving family, passed away at the Hyder Hospice House after a brief illness. The daughter of Eva (Perrault) Nedau, Laurianna was born in Lowell, MA on September, 21 1918 and was raised by her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Perreault. She lived in Somersworth, NH for her entire life. Her husband Leo J. Gagnon died in 2002 after 66 years of marriage. Laurianna s life was centered on her family. She was a fantastic cook of holiday special recipes. She also organized many family holiday celebrations. She was a devout catholic and member of St. Martin Catholic Church her entire life. She enjoyed music, dancing, painting, and playing cards. Laurianna and her husband were fantastic ballroom dancers. Laurianna is survived by her three children Priscilla Gagnon, her caregiver who resided with her; Vivian Guilmette and her husband Delmore of Somersworth, NH; Donald Gagnon and his wife Jackie of Palm Coast, FL. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren Denise Lincoln and her husband Walter of Northborough, MA; David Guilmette and his wife Susan of Chester, NJ; Donald Gagnon and his wife Donna of Sanford, FL; Paul Gagnon of Jacksonville, FL; Debbie Ciccrello and her husband Jeff of Deland, FL; Patricia Gagnon of Jacksonville, FL; Michael Gagnon of Boston, MA; Steven Gagnon and his wife Paula of Portland, OR; Matthew Gagnon and his wife Katrina of Glendale, CA. She is also survived by her siblings Julian Nadeau, Armand Nadeau, Prudence Bronicki, Solange Turgeon, Estelle Lauze. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Laurianna was pre-deceased by her son Norman Gagnon, and brothers Laurent Nadeau, Raynald Nadeau, Bernard Nadeau, and Florian Nadeau. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 10th, 2012 from 4:00 PM 8:00 PM at the Bernier Funeral Home 49 South Street Somersworth, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11am at the Parish of the Assumption in St. Mary Church, Chestnut and Third Streets Dover NH Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Somersworth Flowers are accepted, donations may be made to the Hyder Hospice House in Dover, NH. where Laurianna received the most wonderful care for the last days of her life or to The Sacred Heart League Walls, MI 38686.
