Somersworth, NH - Lena M Michaud, 71, passed away Sunday April 4, 2021. She was born May 2,1949 in Rochester NH. She was a longtime resident of Somersworth NH where she lived for 43 years.

She attended Holy Rosary High School and was a member of the Graniteer Drum and Bugle Corps. She was a light to so many and her bright personality lit up every room she walked into. She is preceded in death by her parents Oliva and Jeanette LaFontaine, brother Oliva LaFontaine Jr. and brother in law James Smith.

She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Bernard Michaud, Son Andrew Michaud, his wife Heather and their daughter Sawyer of Manchester ME and Son Aaron Michaud and his daughter Alivia of Rochester NH,  Younger sisters Denise Smith and Theresa (Richard) Horne of Rochester NH, as well as numerous other friends and family members.
