York - Lena M. Spirito, 93, passed away at York Hospital after a brief illness on November 1, 2017.  She was the cherished wife of Harry Spirito, who pre-deceased her on August 7, 2017.

Lee was a graduate of Grace Hospital School of Nursing and had an Associate Degree in Science from Charter Oak College.  She retired from Waterbury Hospital where she was the nurse manager of the Psychiatric unit.  An active member of the Cheshire Women's Club, she also enjoyed playing bridge, knitting and reading.

She is survived by her beloved children, Harry (Cynthia) Spirito of Cincinnati, OH, Laurie (Jud) Knox of York, ME and Judi (Jim) Lausier of Burlington, CT.  She was the best Nonni to her surviving grandchildren, Kyle Clark, Sam (Nadia) Clark and Emma Clark.  Survivors also include two siblings, Gloria Raccio of Branford, CT and Edward Landino of Bundaburg, Australia.  She was pre-deceased by her daughter, JoAnne Spirito of York, ME and a granddaughter, Kelly Clark of York, ME.
