Leolande (Lee) Brooks of Berwick Me. passed away peacefully after a brief illness. She lived a vibrant & active life for 95 years. She was born in Sanford, Me. on September 15 1925 to Wilfred and Laura (Roy) Lehoux. She married Arthur (Burt) Brooks in 1984. They enjoyed 20 years together wintering in Florida, attending Bluegrass Festivals and traveling acrosss the country and enjoying many aspects of life. Lee was a member of the American Legion Post of Berwick Me. and VFW Post 4485 in Somersworth NH. She was also a lifetime member of the Amvets in Sanford Me. She loved country and blugrass music. She played many instruments and continued to enjoy weekly jam sessions with her music friends. Her interests included playing cards and making crafts, gardening, sewing quilts and spending time with her family. She is survived by her brother Leonald Lehoux and wife Grace of Sanford Me. Her son Leo Bourgoin and wife Joline of Winslow Me. her daughter Rosemary Corriveau of Berwick Me. Stepsons Steve Brooks (wife Phyllis) Jeff Brooks  (wife Melanie) & Richard (Brooksie) Brooks (deceased) (wife Sheila) all of Berwick, Me.  Eleven grandchildren and Nineteen great-grand children.  She was predeceased by her husband Arthur (Burt) Brooks, brother Rosaire Lehoux, sisters: Leona Martineau, Delores Begin, Lucille St. Saviour & Marlyte Saucier, and 2 grandchildren Cyn Marie Corriveau and Travis Bourgoin. Services: A public visiting for Lee will be held on Wednesday, April 14, from 4pm to 6pm at Bernier Funeral Home, 49 South St, Somersworth, NH 03878.
