York, Maine– Leslie J. Kimball, 79, of York, Maine, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at his
home surrounded by his family.
Born on October 18, 1936 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire a son of David F. and Muriel (Pierce)
Kimball.
Prior to his retirement he was employed at the Edgewood Centre in Portsmouth, NH.
Leslie also known as Pa, was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and had an amazing companion
relationship to his dog-Sammy.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine (Hanson) Kimball; 3 daughters, Karen Stevens and her husband,
Jerry of Wells, ME, Shelley Kimball and her significant other, Patrick White of Kittery, ME, and Lisa
Cressey and her significant other, Gary Dunham of Sanford, ME; a brother, David Kimball of Raymond, NH; 6 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special Thank You to York Hospital Oncology for all their support and kindness.
Service: Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
