Eliot – Letha M (Grant) Currie,  95, of Eliot passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020 at Durgin Pines in Kittery.Born in Crystal, Maine on January 26, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Phoebe (Hersey) Grant. In 1942 she married her loving husband Cecil G. Currie and together they made a home and raised a family of seven children on Whidden Street in Portsmouth, NH before making their home in Eliot, ME in 1975.She is survived by her three daughters;Joan Yoho of Portsmouth NH, Brenda Currie of Kittery, ME and Anita Shook (Herman) of York, SC; daughter-in-law, Susan Currie of Dover, NH; sister Marjorie Reitz of Port Hueneme, CA.  Also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Letha was predeceased by her husband Cecil Currie, son Richard Currie and three daughters Annette Doll, Shirley Matotte, and Donna Dube.Letha's family would like to thank the staff at Durgin Pines for the Care and compassion extended to Letha over the past nine months.A graveside service will be announced in the spring.
