Obituary

Lewis "Lou" W. Nau, Jr. SMSGT USAF, Retired, of Eliot, Maine and Portsmouth, New Hampshire passed away peacefully after a period of failing health on July 22, 2022, at the age of 87.

Lou was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania to Lewis W. Nau, Sr. and Eleanor (Wagner) Nau. In 1957 Lou met and instantly fell in love with Beatrice "Bea" Bearns, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage and five children. After his last retirement, he and Bea enjoyed travelling in Asia, Europe and the Caribbean. They also enjoyed driving across the U.S. to spend winters in Arizona. Lou and Bea also enjoyed square dancing with the Downeast Westerners for many years.
