Eliot – Linda J. Gorman, 68, of Eliot, Maine, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at her home.

She was born on August 13, 1948 in York, Maine, the daughter of late James T. and Ruth S. (Manson) Brunette.

Linda was co-owner with her husband, Joseph, and secretary of Joe Gorman Home Improvements LLC in Eliot.

She loved animals, enjoyed crafting, crocheting and cross stitch. Her most memorable trip was visiting her son and family in England where he was stationed. Linda enjoyed being the family caretaker including taking care of her brother and mother-in-law while they were ill.

She was predeceased by her brother, David Brunette.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Joseph "Joe" Gorman of Eliot; a son, Steven Gorman and his wife, Anna of Barrington, NH; her grandson, Evan Gorman of Barrington; and a step-son, Michael Gorman of Rochester, NH

Services: A time of visitation will be held from 11am – 1pm with a funeral service to immediately follow at 1pm on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the J. S. Pelkey Funeral Home, 125 Old Post Road, Kittery, ME. Interment will follow in First Parish Cemetery, York, ME.
