York- Linda Louise Kreider, 76, of York, died Friday, September 27, 2024 at Durgin Pines Nursing home, from a long, courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Sanford Maine on July 5, 1948, she was a daughter of the late George and Irene (Stackpole) Roberts and attended local schools.

Linda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She always had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eyes. Her favorite was anything involving her grandchildren. She loved the holidays, especially Christmas. She enjoyed antiquing, collecting over 3000 salt and pepper shakers, koalas, bird watching and her gardens.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of Thirty-nine years, Barry L. Kreider; son James Edward Andrews IV; daughter Jamie Lynn Andrews; her parents George & Irene Roberts (Stackpole) and sister Beverly Hamilton.

Linda is survived by her son John and his wife, Jennifer; son Daniel and his wife, Susan; son Robert and his wife, Myla; daughter Kerri and her husband, Jason; along with ten grandchildren, a great grandson and her sister, Brenda Powers.
