Linda M.
Marsh
Nov 13, 1942 — May 29, 2025
Linda M. Marsh passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025, at Webster at Rye with her family by her side.
Born November 13, 1942, to Lucy (Poirier) and James Adams, Linda was the third of their four children. Linda grew up on Tenny Hill Road in Kittery Point and graduated from R.W. Traip Academy in 1961.
After high school, Linda began working at Ford Insurance Agency in Kittery, which became the foundation of a secretarial, administrative, and office management career. Linda's professional career included work at Goodwin Oil, Post Machinery Manufacturing, Gluer Parts and Service, and finally Great Bay Services.
Linda married Ronald Marsh in 1965, and together they had three daughters. The couple moved to Pleasant Street in Eliot in 1973. Everyone knew the big house on the water with the giant white dog that laid on the picnic table.
Her life revolved around her family. Supporting the girls through years of activities, Linda was co-director at Girl Scout Camp Scelkit in Kittery Point, a troop leader, stage mom for dance, and band parent. Linda loved music and singing, participated in several musical productions at Traip, and later joined several music groups.
Linda was never happier than when she had a baby in her arms. She deeply loved all five of her grandchildren and kept busy attending their games, activities, concerts, and productions. Later in life, she was thrilled to add six great-grandchildren.
Linda will be remembered by her daughters Alicia Cuttle and husband David of Somersworth, NH, Pam Fuller and husband Gary of South Berwick, ME, Kimbery St. Cyr and husband Paul of Rochester, NH. Linda was the beloved Nana to five grandchildren: Jay Cuttle and wife Ashley of Somersworth, NH, Katie (Cuttle) Linchey and husband Zach of Berwick, ME, Tom Fuller of Durham, NH, Kayla Fuller of Kittery, ME, and Savannah Brown of Conway, NH. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers James and Terry. She will be remembered fondly by her sister, Janet Adams of York, ME.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Webster at Rye and Harborside Hospice.
Calling hours will be held at J.S. Pelkey on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 4-6:00 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Raphael's in Kittery on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 11 am. A graveside service will follow Mass.
