York-Lloyd C. Pelletier, 90, of Creation Lane in York died peacefully at his home on September 10, 2021.

Born and raised in South Berwick, he attended local schools. As a young boy he worked at the local shoe shop and following school he entered the United States Navy, serving during the Korean War.

Lloyd served as a police officer for many years, First in Rollinsford, NH ,then at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard until his retirement.

He enjoyed family genealogy, his model collection and was a very talented artist both in water color and pencil. He also enjoyed membership in the York Art Association.

Lloyd lived life on his own terms til the very end and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his son Brian Pelletier and his wife Jill of Berwick Maine, daughter Belinda Pelletier and her husband Mike Jones of Kingston NH, daughter Brenda Boyle and her husband Michael of Union NH a brother Howard Pelletier of South Berwick Maine, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son Bruce Pelletier, wife Ethel Pelletier, and his second wife Denise Pelletier .

There will be a graveside service Wednesday September 15th at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in South Berwick at 3 pm.
