Obituary

On July 25th, 2026, Heaven received another angel from earth in Lora Ada Fielders, 89 of Sanbornville NH. Born on June 14, 1937 to Albert and Irene Leonard in Derby Connecticut.

Lora grew up in Connecticut, moving to Vermont where she met her husband David Fielders Sr and where they started their family together. Their commitment to each other, while a lifetime to some at 71 years of marriage, seems like not long enough. She was the mother of 7 children, but also a friend and caregiver to many. She had so many interests and hobbies, from working at Ames and selling Avon, to crafts, working in the community with those of all ages, and having the talent to make anything grow. She enjoyed her doll collection, her pets, bingo, shopping but most of all her family. She was one of the least selfish people, always putting others before herself and always making everyone feel loved and cared for. She loved her Red Sox and watched a game whenever she could. Her passion for life was witnessed by all in everything she did. Her heart was full of love for family and friends and she will be missed dearly by everyone that knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was greeted in Heaven by her sister Irene, brothers Robert, Charlie, and Roger, as well as grandsons Daniel Fielders and Mikey Fielders.

Surviving in addition to her husband David are sons Michael of North Carolina and David Jr (Cynthia) of Maine, daughters Laurie (Robert) Coutu of Tennessee, Pamela (Matt Cobb) Shattuck of Maine, Susan (Kelly) Fielders of New Hampshire, and Kimberly (Thomas) Kennison of Vermont; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and brothers Jimmy, Bill, Richie and Jack.

A memorial service will be held at a later time.
