Dover - Lorraine Gladys Bold Pond passed away peacefully on January 3, 2021 at Langdon Place in Dover, New Hampshire.

Lorraine was born February 7, 1929 in Mechanic Falls, Maine to the late Charles and Louisa Bold. She graduated from Traip Academy in Kittery, Maine, afterwards working as a bookkeeper for various companies, including the Portsmouth school system. She loved sewing and quilting and won many awards for her quilts. Lorraine also played piano, loved to cook, and was an avid reader.

She is predeceased by her loving husband of 44 years, John Pond, who passed just two weeks ago. She was also predeceased by her younger brother, Charles E. Bold, Jr. in 2011. Lorraine is survived by her sister Dorothy Leach of Torrington, WY, and two daughters: Kathryn Howard and her husband Philip of Toccoa, GA, and Joan Pelletier of Eliot, Maine. She is also survived by her two stepsons John Pond, Jr. and his wife Julie, and Christopher Pond and his wife Ruby, along with 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
