Obituary

Lebanon Maine- Lura (Leavitt) Olson, 77 of Lebanon died on March, 6 2019 at
Dover Rehabilitation Center following a period of declining health. Lura was born in Portsmouth, NH on January 5th, 1942 a daughter of the late Lawrence and Kibbie (Wafer) Leavitt. Lura was a graduate of Eliot High School and the Portland & Gorham Teachers College. Prior to retiring in 1998, she worked as an educator in South Berwick and Eliot.
Lura married her loving husband Milton Olson and together they
made a home in Eliot until 1990 when they moved permanently to their
camp on Northeast Pond.
She is survived by her brother Cone Leavitt, mother-in-law Louise and sisters-in-law Judy Leavitt of Eliot, Cindy Olson of Florida and Sue Arnold of Texas as well as nieces and nephews Kibbie, Emily, Jillian, Mallory, Lauren, Jon, Joel, Julie, Jennifer, Tianna and Tommy.
