Dover, NH - Marcia (Blaisdell) Tapscott, 87 passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.

She was born to Kenneth and Dorothy (Malloy) Blaisdell.  She was a graduate of Somersworth High school, class of 1952.

Marcia worked and retired from General Electric in Somersworth, NH with 36 years of service.  She enjoyed watching movies, reading, crafting and spending time with her family.  Marica also enjoyed going on trips with her husband Eugene (Tappy) before his passing in 2005.  She was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed going to games.  Marcia also enjoyed playing cards, bingo and socializing with her friends at Mast Landing.  The ladies were known as the Golden Girls.

Members of her family include her step-son Thomas Tapscott of Marco Island, FL; Step-daughter Donna Cisewski and husband Michael of Raymond, NH.  Eight grandchildren (Matthew Blaisdell, Christy Blaisdell, Jenn Blaisdell, Jason Lancaster, Chad Lancaster, Tanya Vallario, Ahren Cisewski and William Tapscott) and four great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, husband Eugene (Tappy), son David Blaisdell, daughter Debra Lancaster, a grandson Jamie James Lancaster, and two brothers Robert and Richard Blaisdell.

Services:  Wake will be held Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 5 to 7 PM at Bernier Funeral Home 49 South Street, Somersworth, NH.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Thursday, February 17, 2022 at the Holy Trinity Church 404 High Street, Somersworth, NH.  Care of the Tapscott Family have been entrusted to Bernier Funeral Home of Somersworth.
