Marguerite Alice Lagueux, 89, of Somersworth died January 13, 2014. She was born June 28, 1924 in West Concord, NH the fourth daughter of Ulderic and Eva (Dubois) Racine She graduated from Concord High School in 1944. On October 28, 1944 she married Robert Lagueux. Marguerite was a communicant of St. Martin Church, Somersworth. She worked several years as a seamstress, bus driver and child caregiver. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and many years with family and friends at their camp on Province Lake, Wakefield, NH Marguerite expressed her creativity by sharing her many needlecraft works with family and friends. She also enjoyed reading in her spare time. She ll be remembered as a devout Catholic with a positive outlook and great sense of humor. Family members include, her son, Laurent Lagueux of Prescott, AZ, daughters, Claire Hill of Berwick, ME and Sylvia King of Bow, NH, and a brother, Ulderic Racine. Six grandchildren, Sean, Melissa, Rachael-Dianne, Gerard and Josiah, also, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her husband, Robert, and her son, Donald, her sisters, Juliette Durgin, Loretta Racine, brother, Ernest Racine, predeceased her There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday at 11am in St. Martin Church, Somersworth by Rev. Michael Taylor. Burial will be this spring in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
