Somersworth -Marguerite Noel, went to be with her beloved husband Arthur, surrounded by her loved ones on, January 14.  Marguerite was born on July 8, 1922, in Somersworth, NH.  She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Elizabeth (Therrien) Heon.   Marguerite lived in Somersworth all her life, was educated at local schools, was a shoe shop worker for a few years, and retired from the General Electric Company, in Somersworth after 29 years.

Marguerite was a lifelong member and communicant of St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish St Martin Church.  She was a member of St. Ann's Society, the Ladies Guild, Women of the Moose Club in Dover and American Legion Auxiliary of Rollinsford, NH.

Marguerite was married to her late husband, Arthur R. Noel, for 56 years.  She is survived by three children; Retired Lt. Col. Robert R. Noel and his wife Sheila of Biloxi, Mississippi, Retired Master Sargent Roland A. Noel of Somersworth and a daughter Rachel C. and her husband Richard W. Budgell of Berwick, Maine.

Grandchildren include; Rachelle, Roxanne, Joey, Robby, Ryan, Randy and Natallie.  She also has seven great grandchildren and many other nieces and nephews.

Marguerite is survived by a sister, Theresa Roberge.  She is predeceased by four brothers, Martin, Roger, Laurent, Michael and Paul Heon and a daughter-in-law Sumron Noel.

Marguerite loved her family beyond measure and looked forward to the moments she would spend with them.  She especially treasured her times together during the holidays and specially events.

Marguerite enjoyed traveling with her husband, family, friends, and especially with the Dover Seniors Citizen Club to Virginia Beach, Vegas, Atlantic City, Canada and Connecticut.  She loved to dance and spent most Saturday nights dancing.

Services: A time of visitation will be on Friday, January 19, from 5pm to 7pm at Bernier Funeral Home, 49 South St. Somersworth NH.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 20, at 10am at St Ignatius of Loyola Parish at St Martin Church, 120 Maple Street, Somersworth. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Martin Church, any catholic charity of ones choosing, or local food pantries or homeless shelters.
