Portsmouth -Marie I. Bridle, 84 of Biddeford Maine died on January 26, 2017 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough following a period of failing health.
Born in Portsmouth New Hampshire a daughter of the late Ralph and Maude (Reamy ) Bridle, she was raised in Portsmouth and attended local schools. Marie was truly a Portsmouth gal enjoying living in the City of Portsmouth and her friends and family there.
She enjoyed all sports especially baseball and hockey and loved to attend Portland Seadog's games and hockey games with her brother Ed. Most recently she enjoyed trips with friends to Foxwoods Casino, bingo and small ball bowling. Later in life Marie made her home in Biddeford Maine where she also enjoyed her many friends. Most recently she made her home at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House where she was cared for wonderfully by the staff .
Marie is survived by her brother Ed Bridle of Kittery and nieces and nephews Beverly, David and Edward Draughn and Heidi Smith as well as various great nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to join Marie's family for her funeral on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 3 PM in the JS Pelkey Funeral Home 125 Old Post Rd., Kittery, ME 03904 with Rev. Linda Hirst officiating.
