Nov 21, 1929 — Feb 3, 2024
Marie "Rita" Dusseault, 94, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024, at her residence at Watson Fields. Born in Rochester NH on November 21, 1929, the daughter of Joseph and Elisa Sylvain.
Rita is survived by 4 children, Theresa Boire, Sylvia Trueworthy and her husband Michael, Ronald Dusseault and his wife, Collette, and Donald Dusseault and his wife Cindy, all from Rochester NH; brother, John Sylvain, as well as 12 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Richard "Babe" Dusseault, a daughter, Rose Wickman, a son-in-law, Richard Boire, a grandson, Ricky Boire,3 Brothers, Paul Sylvain, Robert Sylvain and Richard "Dick" Sylvain, and her friends, Bob and Bob and Bob. Yes, Rita liked the Bobs. It was an inside joke, but the truth. She outlived them all.
Rita worked at General Electric for 40 years. She was a remarkable person. She seldom complained, always relaxed and mostly content and it took very little to satisfy her. It was this personality and the bananas that kept her alive until the ripe age of 94.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to her daughter, Theresa Boire, for the countless hours she spent with Mom for many, many years. Also, to her neighbor Keith Marshall for all the mowing and snow removal while she was alone after Dad died. Also, a grand thank you to all the staff at Bellamy and Watson Fields for the care they gave our mother over the past few years. She will be missed but at peace now.
