Marielle Agnes Labbe (née Barriere), age 92, of Somersworth, died on Sunday, June 18, 2023 surrounded by family. Born 1930 in Stoke, Québec, she was the daughter of Antonio and Berthile Barriere.

In 1957 Marielle married her husband, Roland, and in 1964 the two immigrated to New Hampshire. She was a founding member of La Unite Française and a regular attendee of St. Martin' s church. She helped operate the family business, Labbe Development Inc., for many years. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, spending her winters in Florida, and spoiling her grandchildren with sweets.

She is survived by her siblings Fernande, Irene, and JeanPaul; her children Claude Labbe, Diane Nadeau, and Lynn Miller; her grandkids, Adam Bowden, David Bowden, April Leahey (née Bowden), and Ben Bowden; and great-grandkids, Nathaniel, Ethan, Danielle, Micah, Matthew, James, and Beckett.

She was preceded by her husband Roland and her siblings Madelaine and Lucien.

SERVICES: Wake to be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, from 4-7 p.m., at Bernier Funeral Home, 49 South St., Somersworth, NH 03878. Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 11a.m. at St Martin Church, 120 Maple St., Somersworth, NH 03878. Burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
