Kittery, Maine – Marjorie A. Johndrow, 89, of Kittery, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at her home.

She was born on July 29, 1926 in Kittery, Maine, a daughter of Eugene and Hazel (Pettigrew) Gerry and attended Kittery Schools.

Marjorie was the oldest member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Kittery where she also volunteered for many years as a Sunday school teacher. Her family was the love of her life. Some of the most peaceful and happy times was spent sitting with Nana, with all her candy bowls, watching her grandchildren play. Family and friends will forever miss her hugs and lipstick kisses. Marjorie enjoyed reading her bible and was a Jeff Gordon and Elvis Presley fan. She enjoyed the simple things in life and use to say 'The problem with the world today is that people just don't laugh enough anymore.'

Marjorie was predeceased by her husband, Joseph H. Johndrow.

Survivors include her children, Joseph H. Johndrow Jr. and his wife, Lila of Shapleigh; Kenneth Aucoin and his wife, Genie of Hollis; and Vicki Lynn Trueman of North Berwick; 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Her three sisters, Virginia Rollins of Eliot, Sylvia Grogan of Kittery, and Linda Lytle of York. Many nieces and nephews and a very special niece, Lorinda Keefe of Madbury, NH.

Services will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015 at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 60 Government Street, Kittery, ME. A time of visitation will be held from 12 noon – 1:00 PM, immediately followed by the funeral services at 1:00. Interment will be in Orchard Grove Cemetery, Kittery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark's United Methodist Church or to a charity of one's choice.
