Kittery - Marjorie Ann Porter, 87, of Kittery, Maine died Friday Feb 3, 2017, at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

Born in Newburyport Ma, November 17, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Doris Mae Fish and William Bernard Fish.

Marjorie enjoyed life to the fullest, whether it was at work, listening to her music, with beloved family and friends or by the ocean. She was the best mother and Nan there ever was. It takes love to be a mother, the sweetest name on earth.

Marjorie was predeceased by her sons, John Jay Porter and James William Porter. Her brother William Fish.

She is survived by her daughter Diane Deprey and her husband Joel of Wallagrass Maine. Her sister Norma Cartier and her husband John, of Seabrook, NH; Her grandson John Jay Porter and his wife Cindy, of Acton, Ma; Kevin Porter and his wife Lisa, of Salisbury, Ma, and Mark Porter, of Seabrook, NH; great grandchildren, Annie Catherine Porter, Molly Porter and John Porter. Marjorie is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at 1pm at JS Pelkey Funeral Home, 125 Old Post Rd, Kittery, ME, with the Rev. Brad Hirst, officiating.
