Kennebunk, ME - Martin Peter Stone, better known as Butch, passed away peacefully on the morning of February 17, 2021. Born September 15, 1958 in McAllen, Texas to Marie Ann Bachman Stone and Capt. Milton S. Stone. After his father passed, he was proud to call Donald P Coates his dad. He worked as a mechanic and journeyman carpenter at Seabrook Nuclear Power Station, which served him well as he practiced the trade throughout his lifetime. Butch had a great sense of humor, loved riding motorcycles, collecting crystals and geodes, and was especially proud of his son. He is survived by his mother Marie A Bachman Coates, formerly Stone, sisters Deborah A Silva, Judy Coates Perez, Squeak S Stone, Elizabeth D Welch, and children Haeleigh E. Stone and Aiden C. Stone.
