York- Marvin R (Jack) Yates, 76, passed away suddenly on the morning of July 9, 2015. Jack was born in Gould Oklahoma, July, 27, 1938. He served his country in the US Air Force. Jack was predeceased by his daughter Vickie Rene Hayden and his son Michael Ray Yates. Jack is survived by his family: his wife of 56 years, Gloria Yates of York Maine; a son Dennis Yates of Strafford NH; Robert Yates of Romano California; Debbie Yates of Frisco Texas and Mary Catherine Yates of Rifle Colorado; a sister Linda Byars of Cedar Creek Texas; a sister June Stranger of Grand Junction Colorado; a sister Sarah Peacock of North Richland Hills Texas; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
