Kittery, Maine - Louise D. Cutten, 91, died peacefully on March 28, 2022 at her home with her son, Gregory P. Cutten, by her side.
Louise was born on June 17, 1930, in Rochester, NH. She was the daughter of the late Napoleon and Sarah (Winkley) Picard. Louise attended Rochester schools and graduated from Spaulding High school in 1949. Louise worked at the Somersworth General Electric in the 1950's.
Louise was predeceased by her loving husband, Charles E. Cutten; sisters, Bertha Foss and Yvonne Girouard. Louise has one nephew, James Foss and his wife Joyce; two great nieces, Jamie Flynn and Julie Ann Foss; and one great nephew, Jason Foss and their families.
Louise had a special talent for handy work and crafts including cross stitching, crocheting/knitting and building projects with her husband, Charlie. Louise so loved spending time with Charlie and Greg. Louise enjoyed snowmobiling with her family in years past and visits to the Rochester Fair. Louise appreciated all music, she played the organ and loved to sing. Mona Lisa and Unforgettable by Nat King Cole were two of her song favorites. Louise took a trip to Foxwoods in 2018 with Greg to celebrate her 88th birthday. She was happy spending holidays with family. Louise had an infectious laugh and spirit; loved spending time with people; and, always wanted to have fun.
Greg Cutten would like to thank Dr. Elizabeth Castillo and staff from the Center of Older Adults in South Berwick and support staff of Beacon Hospice.
A private, family graveside service to celebrate her life will be held in June.
Care for the Cutten family has been entrusted to the JS Pelkey & Son Funeral Home.
