Matthew F. Powers passed away suddenly on January 21, 2025. Matthew was born in Lowell, MA, to Nancy and Stephen Powers. He lived most of his life in Pelham and recently in Kittery, ME. He graduated from Bishop Guertin High School and the University of New Hampshire, Whitmore School of Business. He worked in the insurance industry for 30 years.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy of Wells, ME, and his two Sons, Brendan P. of Sunapee, NH, and Kyle R., currently in Texas. Brother, Michael F. Powers,  sister-in-law Wiebke Powers, his beloved niece Emma, nephew Thomas, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
