Meity Najoan, 62, of Surabaya, Indonesia, left this earth and entered Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 6, 2019.
Born in Kotamobagu, Manado, Indonesia on May 21, 1957, Meity was the daughter of the late Darius Najoan and Bernetje Mangowal. She moved to Sorong, Papua, Indonesia after she graduated from high school. In 1974, she met and married Frans Kairupan, her loving husband of forty-five years. They moved to Jayapura, Indonesia and raised a family. Together with her husband, Frans, they served the Lord in YAKIN Christian Literature Crusade in Indonesia, which focuses on literature services such as bookstores and Christian publishing. In 1978, God called them to the YAKIN Christian Literature Crusade head office in Surabaya. From 2005-2015, she was on the YAKIN Christian Literature Crusade Board of Trustees.
She was a member of the Tabernacle Pentacostal Church of Christ the Shepherd in Surabaya, Indonesia where she faithfully served the Lord in the Psallo Choir and as a singer in the Women's Group.
Meity is survived by her husband, Frans Kairupan of Surabaya, Indonesia; son Donny, his wife, Tirza, and their daughter, Vanessa, of Surabaya, Indonesia; son Michael, his wife, Antonia, and their daughter, Mireya, of Portsmouth, New Hampshire; son Anthony and his wife, Christy, of Surabaya, Indonesia; sister Yulche of Manado, Indonesia; sister Netty and her husband, Jootje, of Bangka Belitung, Indonesia; sister Yeny and her husband, Herry, of Columbus, Ohio; brother Hengky and his wife Betty, of Sorong, Indonesia.

Care of the Kairupan-Najoan family has been entrusted to Bernier Funeral Home .
