Michael Walter Bryan Brezak of Kittery, ME, passed away on June 30, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. He was raised in Ewing Township, NJ and is survived by his parents, Barbara K. and Robert of Ewing, his brother, Robert A.D. Brezak of Edmonds, WA, his aunt, Dolores Brezak of Ewing, niece Libby Brezak of Edmonds, Lowell Wade of Wash., D.C, Denise and Bryan King of Arlington, VA, and Carol and Dave Woodward of Takoma Park, MD as well as numerous cousins.

Michael attended Lore and Fisher schools in Ewing. He graduated Ewing High School where he was elected to the National Honor Society, participated in school plays and was a member of the lacrosse and swim teams. He played recreational soccer and was a travel team member in his youth. Mike was active in the Boy Scouts where he achieved the rank of Eagle and served as a summer camp counselor. Graduating the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Exercise Science, he subsequently received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of New England.

He worked as a physical therapist in Hampton, NH for several years. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed skiing, hiking, bicycling, kayaking, and swimming as well as competing in numerous running events. Mike was also very interested in horticulture, keeping a variety of plants in his dwelling and in cooking, trying his hand at some exotic and delightful dishes. He was a history buff, and his favorite author was J.R.R. Tolkein.

Mike's greatest concern was the comfort and well-being of others while his greatest pleasure was spending time with his friends of whom he was especially fond. Mike was a kind, generous, caring, stoic, and observant soul with a penchant for wry and quiet humor. He will be dearly missed by those who truly knew him.
