Obituary

Toms River, N.J. - Michael G. Dube, 59, died Friday, April 12, 2013 at Winthrop-University Hospital in Mineola, NY. He was born in Rochester New Hampshire and raised in Somersworth, N.H. before settling to New Jersey 28 years ago. Mike started his career as a driver in the United States Army. He earned a National Defense Service Medal, Army Commendation, German Army Marksmanship Award and a Driver Mechanic Badge. After his service, Mike worked for Dart Transportation where he received his life long trucker award by driving three million miles. He was a member of the South Plainfield Elks and the National American Legion. He is predeceased by his father, Rudolph Dube. Surviving are his wife; Janice, daughter; Nicole Manley and her husband George and their children; Hanna, Ian, Caleb, his two sons; Michael Jr. and his wife Monica and their children; Summer and Ryan and Jamie and his wife Aimee and their children; Samantha, Justin and Jonathan, his mother; Jeannette Parcell and seven siblings; Robert , Luanne Doyle, Dana, Dale, Leslie Hotop, Scott Green and Raeann Moore. Visitation will be Thursday 5-8pm in Bernier Funeral Home 49 South St. Somersworth. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:30 in St. Martin Church, Somersworth. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery
