Michael Van Etten, 67, of South Berwick, ME, passed away suddenly of a heart attack on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at his home. Michael was born in Kittery, ME, on May 20, 1955. He was the son of Kenneth and Audrey Van Etten. He is survived by his wife, Stacy, of 37 years, of South Berwick; son Anthony of South Berwick; son Alex of Saco, ME; brother Kevin and his wife Linda, of Greenland, NH; sister Sharon and her husband Robert, of Mendham, NJ; and sister Deborah Heidenstrom of South Berwick, ME. He also leaves behind 7 nephews and 2 nieces. He is predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Audrey. Michael worked as a self employed drywall contractor for over 40 years. Throughout his retirement, he enjoyed going fishing, attending weekly card games, and playing golf with his brother, friends, and son, Alex. He also loved spending time watching movies and documentaries with his son, Anthony. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, love for his family, and his insatiable sweet tooth.

SERVICES: The wake will be held on Friday, September 2nd from 5-7pm at JS Pelkey Funeral Home in Kittery, ME. Services will be held at the church of Christ (48 Love Ln, Kittery ME 03904) on Saturday, September 24th at 11am.
